Mehron Stipple Sponge is a coarse, open weave sponge designed to create realistic textured effects with ease. Its irregular surface makes it perfect for beard stubble, scrapes, bruising, dirt, road rash and other character or SFX details. A light tap of the sponge gives instant organic texture that brushes can’t replicate, making it a staple for both face painters and makeup artists.

These sponges are ideal for ageing effects, mottled skin, freckles, stone or concrete textures and creating facial hair. Each pack includes three non‑latex rectangular sponges (2" x 1" x 1"), giving you plenty of control whether you use them whole or cut them into smaller pieces for precision work.

Sponge Care: Dale washes sponges by hand using warm water and Velvet soap, then squeezes out the excess water and lets them dry in the sun. The sunlight helps naturally kill germs, keeping the sponges fresh and ready to use. 

Store sponges in a breathable mesh bag (eg Jest Paint or Art Factory).  Avoid airtight containers, as trapped moisture can cause mould.
