Keep your brushes performing at their best with this fast acting, rinse free cleaner. Suitable for both synthetic and natural bristles, it breaks down paint, oils, and stubborn pigments in seconds, leaving brushes clean, refreshed and ready for your next design.

The quick drying formula is ideal for artists who need to switch colours quickly or maintain hygienic tools during busy gigs. It removes residue without over wetting the bristles, helping your brushes keep their shape and last longer.

A dependable kit essential for face painters, makeup artists, and anyone who wants clean, sanitised brushes with minimal downtime.

How to use Pour a small amount into a shallow dish and dip only the bristles into the liquid. Gently wipe the brush on a clean towel to lift away paint, repeating until the bristles run clear. For a deeper clean, leave the bristles (not ferrule) in the solution for a few minutes before squeezing out the excess and laying the brush flat to dry.

Avoid leaving brushes soaking in the cleaner, as prolonged submersion can damage the bristles and loosen the glue inside the ferrule.

WARNING - FLAMMABLE: Keep away from fire. Keep out of reach of children.

Flutterby Tip: Post Gig Cleaning Essentials

Keeping your kit clean is just as important as your brushwork. Here’s some of Dale's hygiene practices:-

  • Brushes: Clean thoroughly with Superstar Brush Soap, reshape, and lay flat to dry. This prevents moisture from getting trapped in the ferrule and damaging bristles
  • Sponges: Wash thoroughly, Dale swears by Velvet Soap, making sure they’re completely dry before storing (in mesh bag) to prevent mould and bacteria. She even pops them in the sun, a natural germ killer, for an extra boost of freshness
  • Face Paints: Wipe gently with a damp cloth (Dale uses a Chux Superwipe) and leave lids off until dry. This helps prevent your paints from going gluggy over time
  • Sanitising: After or even during a gig, lightly mist your paints with Isocol (70% isopropyl | 30% water) to kill surface bacteria

A clean kit keeps your colours fresh, your tools lasting longer and your clients safe.
