How to use

EasyLoad Splitcakes™ are designed with sponge work in mind, but they perform beautifully with one‑stroke brushes too.

Lightly mist one side of your sponge, then sweep it back and forth across the cake using steady, even pressure. This gives you a smooth, full colour load without patchiness.

If the colours look faint or you’re missing sections, simply mist your sponge again and reload. You can also give the cake a very light spray to help activation when needed.

Hygiene Tip

When laying down a base, avoid returning a used sponge to the cake, it can transfer skin debris, food, dirt or other contaminants. Instead, reactivate the colour already on your sponge: one or two light sprays of water will bring the dried paint back to life so you can finish the design cleanly and hygienically.
