Dale from Flutterby has been using AWA sponges for years—they’re her on the job go to. With proper care, they hold up beautifully and last a long time. Dale washes sponges by hand using warm water and Velvet soap, then squeezes out the excess water and lets them dry in the sun. The sunlight helps naturally kill germs, keeping the sponges fresh and ready to use. 

Store sponges in a breathable mesh bag (eg Jest Paint or Art Factory).  Avoid airtight containers, as trapped moisture can cause mould.
